ADVENTURE TIME
As shown in "Memories of Boom Boom Mountain," Finn appears to have been abandoned in a woodland during infancy. He reveals that he made "boom boom" (a reference to poo) on a large leaf, fell on it, and lay there crying until Joshua and Margaret (Jake's parents) rescued him from the wilderness to raise him alongside Jake, who becomes like a brother to him (as such, Jermaine is also Finn's adoptive brother). In "Memory of a Memory" a baby Finn is seen singing his Baby Finn Song in the bathroom of what appears to be Joshua and Margaret's house. In "Henchman," when Finn is asked about his parents, he says Jake told him that he came from a cabbage, in jest. In "Susan Strong," Finn states that he knows nothing of his human parents or any other humans.
Jake (full title: Jake the Dog), the deuteragonist of Adventure Time, is a magical dog and Finn's constant companion, best friend, and brother by adoption. Jake has Stretchy Powers, which allow him to stretch and manipulate his body, coming in handy on innumerable occasions throughout his and Finn's adventures. He is the son of Joshua and Margaret. Jake has a brother named Jermaine. Jake is 28 in magical dog years, but he rarely acts maturely. He is probably 14, around Finn's age, in human years. Both he and his girlfriend, Lady Rainicorn, share a passion for playing the viola.
Princess Bubblegum (full name Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum, often called PB and, on occasion, Peebles and Poibbles) is a main character on the series Adventure Time that first appeared in the Animated Short. She is the benevolent ruler of the Candy Kingdom. She is Finn's former love interest. According to Marceline, her first name is Bonnibel. At the end of "Mortal Recoil" she was transformed into a 13-year-old, but returned to her normal biological age of 18 years in "Too Young."
Marceline Abadeer (full title Marceline the Vampire Queen) is a main character in Adventure Time. She is a 1,000+ year old vampire. She knows many other people of Ooo, and among those are her close friends Finn and Jake. Many places of residence are known to belong to her.
The Ice King (formerly Simon Petrikov) is the main antagonist (often unintentionally) of Adventure Time. His typical misdeed is to kidnap a princess and force her to marry him, which Finn and Jake foil every time. As his name suggests, Ice King is also his title, announcing himself as King of Ice. He rules the Ice Kingdom. His Ice Powers are contained in his crown, and he is therefore powerless without it. His crown is also the cause of his loss of sanity, his unusual skin color, goblin-like nose, white eyes and beard.
Lumpy Space Princess (or LSP) is the princess of Lumpy Space. She is the second most recurring princess after Princess Bubblegum. Finn and Jake have both traveled to Lumpy Space as well as to her [Parents] residence after she accidentally bit Jake in "Trouble in Lumpy Space."
Since "To Cut a Woman's Hair," LSP moved out and has been living homeless in Ooo (which is why Jake called her a hobo). She was shown as a dirty homeless girl living in a tent and heating up a can of beans in "Heat Signature." According to her story in "The Monster," she lived among wolves, was banished, and later began terrorizing a small village as a "monster" in order to eat their crops. She ultimately returned to Lumpy Space to make up with her parents.
Lady Rainicorn is a unicorn-rainbow hybrid. She is Princess Bubblegum's pet, best friend, and companion. She is also Jake's girlfriend, and sometimes follows Finn and Jake on their adventures. She speaks only Korean, using English only when equipped with a Universal Translator. Jake is the only other being in the Land of Ooo, besides Lady's parents, that is shown to understand Korean, though PB likely can understand her as well.
BMO (or Beemo) is Finn and Jake's living video game system, portable electrical outlet, music player, roommate, camera, alarm clock, friend, and video player. It makes its appearance in the title scene of the Theme Song of every episode of Adventure Time, just before Finn and Jake pound their fists together. BMO is the only one who can press the button under its D-pad to send a target to its main-brain-game-frame. BMO plays soccer as shown in "In Your Footsteps."
The Earl of Lemongrab first appears in the episode "Too Young." He is the high-strung, stubborn ruler of the land of Lemongrab, and the heir to the Candy Kingdom. The son of his not-so-proud mother, Princess Bubblegum, he was the first of Princess Bubblegum's experiments gone wrong. This relation technically allowed him to usurp the throne to the Candy Kingdom after Bubblegum's de-aging, until her original age of 18 was restored. Once Princess Bubblegum was 18 again he was fired, and returned to Lemongrab.
I love Adventure Time, and this website!
